It is so easy to join! Go to the signup page, furnish
the details and submit. A verification link will be send to your Email ID. You could
verify the link & login to the Member’s Area.
When you login, you will be directly led to the New Posting page. Once you submit
the posting, it is sent for review. We will be mailing you the status after the
review.
Once published you could send personal mails (containing the link of the posting)
to your friends.
TIP: You could easily format the mail by simply clicking the
icon on the top of your posting. This will open up your default email editor (say
Microsoft Outlook), generating a mail corresponding to the post. Either you could
send it through Outlook, or you could copy the contents to your favorite mail editor
(say Gmail) & send.
[Important: Send only the link & and the short description. Do not include the contents
in your mail.].
Details of your published posts will be available in your members area (after login)
under the 'Published' link.
Guidelines for using the editor
- Do not copy paste the contents directly from a webpage or mail. This is because
it will generate a lot of unwanted HTML tags. You first copy the text into Notepad
and then only copy to the editor. Then you can apply any formatting such as color,
size etc.
- To place an image, you should make use of the
button. For example, if you want to place an image (say, present in your
mail) – First copy the image to your computer (say to My Documents), then using
the browse icon (in the Insert Image), you can place the image. If
you directly copy paste from your mail, though you can see the image in the our editor,
(it will not be uploaded) & we will not receive the image. So we cannot
publish your post.
- The image file should be of JPG / JPEG, GIF, PNG format. BMP is not allowed.
- You cannot insert files other than image files. In such cases you could upload it
to any public file sharing sites (say, www.4shared.com) & place
the url, along with a neat description.
- The horizontal align buttons
are generally meant to align images only. [Not for the text. Generally, no alignments
are to be applied for the text].
- Currently the editor is fully optimized for Firefox. It is highly suggested that,
you use Firefox browser while posting contents.
General Instructions regarding Contents
- The Title, Short Description should be catchy enough to attract the visitors. Please
note that only these two are displayed in the index listing!
- Again, please note that the 'Short Description' is not displayed in the posting.
It is displayed only in the links, to catch visits! So what ever you need to show
in the posting should be there in the content.
- Do not upload images with water marks / emblems of other companies, websites, groups
etc. Do not post any copyrighted material.
- Do not post nude/vulgar images. Also do not post any content which is humiliating
to any person, country, or race. Also avoid posting contents which is very unpleasant
– such as dreadful pictures of accidents, wars etc.
- You should not misuse the site for your advertisement. For instance do not put links
to your site just for getting you the visits / marketing. Do not put hyperlinks
to the images unnecessarily. However if the context really demands such a link (say
to explain something), you can put the link to that site.
In short, the aim of the site is to make people, more pleasant & knowledgeable.
So post all contents which could cope with this!

You can email the content directly to us! Just send the mails to postings@funnfact.com.
Please do note that you should send the mails ONLY from your primary Email ID (User
ID) - you registered with us, (to get the credit of the posting). Once we receive the mail we will review it and post
the content in your credit.
