GARDENER Lionel Partridge did a quack double-take when he harvested this marrow — and found it was in the shape of a DUCK.
The freakish veg came complete with a beak, head, neck, body and tail.
The green vegetable, a type of squash, turned into the bizarre shape after getting tangled up while growing.
The stalk has formed into a perfectly-shaped two inch long beak and it even has an eye in the right place after scraping against a twig.
Lionel, 71, and wife Marilyn, 62, have put the mallard marrow on their garden wall to show neighbours.
Marilyn said: "When I saw it, I burst out laughing. It is so realistic. We haven't done anything to it, it is perfectly natural.
"It is in the shape of a duck with its head turned about to preen itself.
"We couldn't eat it because it looked so adorable. Besides, would it be a meat or vegetable course?"
